About

I'm in my 9th cycle of 7 years. I come from a small farm in Perthshire in Scotland, from a wee croft on a hillside. I’ve had a highly varied working life ranging from tree planter to call-centre worker, distribution logistics manager to organic farmer, and I toured and recorded with a number of Irish Bands as their fiddle player in New Zealand during the nineties. I currently live on Vancouver Island.

I love the world of nature and the environment, and I do my best to take good photographs of some of the many incredibly wonderful things I'm lucky enough to see.

When I get the chance, I'll go and cast a fly for a trout, but that's a rare pleasure. It's one that I hope this website will help me to make a much more regular part of my life.

Anyhoo, I won't keep you.
